Primary Side Quasi-Resonant Controller with integrated 650V N-Channel MOSFET
The LD9162K is an excellent primary side feedback controller with QR (quasi-resonant) operation, integrated with a 650V MOSFET.
It minimizes the components count and makes it ideal for economy designs.
The IC provides functions of ultra-low start up current, green-mode power-saving operation, leading-edge blanking of the current sensing
and internal slope compensation.
Also, the LD9162K features OLP (over load protection), OTP (over temperature protection) and OVP (over voltage potection)
to prevent the circuit being damaged from abnormal conditions.
Furthermore, the programmable brown-in/out protection and bulk capacitor OVP protection is built-in.
In most cases, primary side regulated flyback converters would suffer from bad load regulation performance.
To deal with this problem, dedicated load regulation compensation is also implemented in LD9162K.
The IC is available in SMD. LD9162K GS in SOP-8 package.
